Private Sector
The Homes and Communities Agency will work with a host of commercial partners specialising in areas such as construction, architecture and surveying to deliver our regeneration strategy.
Whilst on placement with a private sector company you will gain an understanding of the regeneration sector from a different perspective and learn about their drivers, markets and responsibilities.

"During my private sector placement with PRP Project Services I was given the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from those in the inception stage through to monitoring during construction. As the client base was predominantly RSLs I was able to gain a thorough understanding of their priorities and requirements when working on a project.
In addition to project management I pursued a research paper investigating service charges on residential development and the impact this can have on affordability for people on lower incomes. The placement gave me a more rounded understanding of project management and enabled me to establish a wider network of contacts."
