A joint venture to create new industrial floorspace
Priority Sites Limited is a public private partnership owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland (51%) and English Partnerships (49%). It was created in 1997 as a unique vehicle to focus on the development of industrial and commercial property where private sector development and investment companies are generally reluctant to invest and develop.
The company has become established as a key developer of high quality sustainable industrial and commercial property in the English Regions.
Achievements
Priority Sites cumulative development programme indicates over 3.4m sq ft of completed space by December 2008 with a revised Business Plan which envisages the provision of 725,000 sq ft per annum up to 2011.
Organisation
Whilst continuing to focus on its traditional product, Priority Sites adjusts to market conditions to provide products demanded by the market. It is evolving, expanding and improving its range of product for local, regional and national users, diversifying economic base and job opportunities under the direction of the Board.
Representatives of English Partnerships and The Royal Bank of Scotland make up the Board of Priority Sites Limited and ensure that the aims of the venture are met.
