Margaret Ford
Chairman, English Partnerships

Margaret Ford became Chairman of English Partnerships on 1 April 2002. She has had extensive leadership experience throughout her career in economic development and social housing. She is a former Executive Director of Scottish Homes, the national housing agency in Scotland, and has worked closely with The Housing Corporation and Government organisations throughout the UK and internationally. She is at present Chief Executive of Good Practice Ltd, an international online publisher. Mrs Ford is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority and of the communications and internet company Thus Group plc. She is a former Chairman of the Lothian Health Board and a Non-Executive Director of the Scottish Prison Service. In 1993 she was appointed to HMIC in Scotland as a Lay Inspector of Constabulary.

John Walker
Acting Chief Executive, English Partnerships

John Walker joined English Partnerships in October 1994 after four years as a management consultant specialising in regeneration and a career in Local Government and with an Urban Development Corporation. Following the merger of the URA and CNT in 1999 he became Finance & Administration Director and since the departure of the former Chief Executive has been Acting Chief Executive since 1 August.

David Shelton
Development Director, English Partnerships

David Shelton trained as an urban economist and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1980. After holding a number of development-orientated posts in both the public and private sectors he joined English Estates, ultimately becoming Regional Manager for Cumbria. On the subsumation of English Estates into English Partnerships, he assumed responsibility for the Agency´s Objective 1 programme in Merseyside and subsequently joined the national development team as Deputy Development Director. In 1997 David was appointed Projects Director with overall responsibility for the shape and direction of the development programme and is now Development Director. He is a member of the RICS Urban Regeneration Panel and was a member of the Deputy Prime Minister´s Coalfields Task Force.

Peter Springett
Area Director (Housing) South, English Partnerships

Peter Springett is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years´ experience in property development. Over the past 10 years, Peter has been responsible for bringing forward residential opportunities in the former English New Towns. Prior to this he worked within the public sector and with particular responsibilities for development lead initiatives.

Councillor Arthur McCutcheon
Northampton Borough Council & Northamptonshire County Council

Councillor McCutcheon´s experience in planning and property matters goes back more than 20 years. Like all members of the Council he has an interest in sustainability matters as well as the built environment. Councillor McCutcheon has served on Northampton Borough Council´s planning committee for ten years and before this was on the property committee. He takes a continuing responsibility for the Upton Development in Northampton and his cabinet portfolio includes responsibility for community safety. For Northamptonshire County Council Councillor McCutcheon sits on the environment and transport committee.

Miles Anderson
Divisional Director - Portfolio Development, English Partnerships

Miles Anderson is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and has more than 20 years experience of working in New Towns throughout England. With the merger of English Partnerships and the Commission for New Towns in 1999, Miles was appointed as the Divisional Director - Portfolio Development, with a national role having particular responsibilities for overseeing English Partnerships´ property assets, marketing and inward investment.

Neil Hadden
Assistant Chief Executive (Investment and Regeneration), Housing Corporation

Neil Hadden joined the Housing Corporation in 1978. Following a variety of posts in regional offices and headquarters he became Director of the Corporation´s West Regional Office in 1990. In 1995 Neil established the new London Region and in 1998 became Director of Investment. In April 2001 he was made Assistant Chief Executive (Investment and Regeneration).

Euan Hall
Divisional Director, Coalfields/Joint Ventures, English Partnerships

Euan Hall is a general practice chartered surveyor with over 20 years´ experience in the industry in both the private and public sectors, with over half of this experience in economic development and urban regeneration. He is currently Divisional Director for Coalfield/Joint Ventures within English Partnerships, with responsibility for several of the organisation´s key areas of operation, including the National Coalfield Programme, Priority Sites, Networkspace and other joint ventures. He is also responsible for establishing English Partnerships´ Land Stabilisation Programme to deal with areas affected by former non-coal mine workings across England. Prior to joining English Partnerships in 1998, Euan spent seven years as Head of Property with Scottish Enterprise.

Graham Parry
Chief Executive, EnProve

EnProve is a social enterprise owned by Groundwork Ashfield and Mansfield. EnProve aims to provide temporary employment opportunities for the long-term unemployed and to develop and deliver services that provide social value and offer realistic work experiences for its employees. Graham Parry has managed EnProve for four years and also works closely with the National Groundwork Federation on the development of further national regeneration programmes and the sharing of best practice. His role requires him both to respond to and feed into national government policy on employment, training and regeneration.
