If you would like to be considered for the Graduate Development Programme, please check that you are able to meet the following specific requirements.

We will ‘screen out’ if candidates do not have the following:

  • Ability to live and work in various UK locations during the programme. You will need to be eligible to work in the UK and be completely flexible to relocate several times. In order to ensure a comprehensive learning experience, the Graduate Development Programme does involve living and working in different areas of the country.

  • A valid EU work permit.

  • A 2:1 (actual/predicted) degree OR a 2:2 degree supported by additional appropriate post-graduate qualifications.

  • A clean and valid driving licence (required by September 2008) as many placements will require driving on a daily basis.

  • A clear interest and involvement in regeneration to be demonstrated by any:
    • Relevant unpaid work experience, voluntary experience or internship.

    • Relevant extra curricular experience, e.g. involvement in Duke of Edinburgh Award, regeneration related university societies or representative bodies.

    • Membership of community groups, regeneration related societies or involvement in ‘real’ regeneration projects.

We will also 'screen out' if you have any more than six months paid, post-graduate employment in regeneration. We are looking to attract new people into the regeneration sector and will therefore only accept applications from individuals with no more than six months paid work experience in this sector.

Recruitment for the 2008 Graduate programme has now closed. Information relating to recruitment onto the 2009 programme will be available on this website in October 2008.
