The 52 ha (128 acre) Gardiners Lane South site lies south of the A127 in Basildon. English Partnerships is working with Basildon District Council to bring forward the redevelopment of the site.
A predominantly residential scheme is considered to be the best solution to create a vibrant and sustainable community.
