David Hughes

David Hughes is Regional Director for North East, Yorkshire and East Midlands. He joined English Partnerships in 2004 as Area Director in the East Midlands and has led the agency's Hospital Sites Programme, the National Coalfields Programme, the agency's work in the seven  Millennium Communities and its sponsorship of the 20 Urban Regeneration Companies.

Prior to joining English Partnerships David delivered a diverse range of major regeneration initiatives for Nottingham City Challenge and New Deal for Communities. He also worked for Nottingham Regeneration Ltd  where he was responsible for initiating masterplan led regeneration schemes and undertaking the direct development  of a range of inner city  workspace schemes. Graduating in Environmental Science David is also a qualified Town Planner.  

David represents English Partnerships on the Boards of Creative Sheffield, Sheffield One, Bradford Centre Regeneration, Leicester Regeneration Company, Nottingham Regeneration Ltd  and Blueprint LLC.
