Commercial ventures

The Commercial Ventures team is responsible for the management and support of existing commercial ventures to which English Partnerships is party, as well as exploring  further opportunities.

This is achieved primarily through board membership, which allows the management of activities to ensure the overall aims of the commercial venture (and therefore the aims of English Partnerships and its partners) are met. 

Current commercial ventures include English Cities Fund, Priority Sites Limited and Network Space. These were established in order to solve particular and distinct issues identified within English Partnerships' corporate plan, and their common aim is to enable and encourage private-sector involvement in regenerating specific areas of need.

The success of these ventures has enabled English Partnerships to be at the forefront of "partnering" and to disseminate lessons learned, cross-fertilising best practice both within and outside the organisation.
