Accessibility

English Partnerships is committed to making the information on this site available to the widest possible audience.

This site's layout takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse, it is compatible with popular screen reading software, and can be navigated easily using just a keyboard.

If you have any comments or feedback on this website, please security permission requiredcontact us.

Jump to links

'Jump to content' and 'Jump to main navigation' links are provided on each page to provide an alternative means of navigation to pointing and clicking with a mouse. The 'Jump to' links appear when you tab through the website using the keyboard.

Text size

To change the size of text on this site, you can use the "Smaller text" or "Larger text" links on the top left of each page. You can also change settings in your web browser. Go to the “View” menu and then select “Text Size” or “Text Zoom” to see the options available in your browser.

You can also set these options permanently in most browsers, usually in the same way as you set preferences for colours – see below for detailed instructions.

Colours

You can change the colour of the background and the text of the site. This can be particularly useful if you are using magnification technology and the white background produces an uncomfortable glare.

In Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to the “Tools” menu and select “Internet Options”. Click the “Colours” button to set your preferred colours.

In Mozilla Firefox, go to the “Tools” menu and select “Options”. In the “General” section, select “Fonts & colours”.

Accessibility standards

Pages on this site are designed to meet Priority 1 accessibility checkpoints as specified by the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (this is also known as “A” or “Single-A” compliance). Any new websites we build are required to meet the "AA" standard.

Non-HTML files downloadable from this site – for example, Microsoft Office documents or Adobe PDF files – may present accessibility problems. If you have a problem accessing these or any other information on the site, please contact us and we will try to provide the information in an appropriate format.
