Homes and Communities Agency's Regional Teams
(in Gateshead, Warrington, Milton Keynes, London, Allerton Bywater, Nottingham, Telford, Birmingham, Bristol, Bracknell or Ashford)
The first nine and last six months are based in one particular regional team and there is also a shorter placement in another region.
Our regional teams work in collaboration with other public agencies, government departments and the private sector to deliver the Homes and Communities Agency's portfolio of strategic projects. For example, the Kings Waterfront development in Liverpool or the new town project at Northstowe, Cambridgeshire.
The Homes and Communities Agency will also invest in and regulate the provision of affordable homes in England. It will support successful, thriving and inclusive communities by subsidising the supply and regulating the quality of homes and associated services for householders whose circumstances make it difficult for them to meet their housing need in the open market. This includes the homeless, low income families, key workers and those in need of supported accomodation.
Paul Creed - Graduate Trainee

Working in the regional delivery teams allowed me to focus on real projects at differing stages. Working on three schemes, I represented English Partnerships at several project meetings and enjoyed many site visits. I gained an understanding about the development process and how any delays or timesavings could affect our outputs.
I was able to build up a good working relationship with our partners - developers and the local council which was useful when I was in regular contact with them during the process of finalising and making alterations to agreements.
